Embodied Myth is run by Frans-Lukas Lövenvald in Stockholm, Sweden. I am responsible for how your personal information is used through this website. For questions or requests, email franslukas@embodiedmyth.net.
The meditation and the letters
When you request The Inner Mirror, I collect your name and email address to deliver the recording. Requesting the meditation does not, by itself, subscribe you to the newsletter. This processing is based on your consent when you submit the request.
If you choose to join Letters from the living experiment, your details are used to send the letters and occasional invitations to workshops, projects and offerings. Newsletter subscriptions are based on consent. You can withdraw it using the unsubscribe link in an email, or by contacting me. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that happened before withdrawal.
MailerLite manages the forms, subscriber groups and email delivery. It records signup and confirmation activity, which may include your IP address, timestamps, approximate location, email opens and link clicks. Link clicks are used in the newsletter confirmation process. Delivery and engagement records also help me understand whether emails reach readers and maintain the mailing list, based on my legitimate interest in running a reliable service. You can object to this processing by contacting me.
Contact and booking
If you contact me, I use your contact details and the information you choose to share to respond. Booking links open Zcal, which collects the information needed to arrange your session. Responding to requests about working together and arranging sessions is necessary to take steps at your request before entering an agreement. Other correspondence is handled on the basis of my legitimate interest in responding to you.
You do not need to share sensitive personal details in a website form or booking request. This policy covers the website, mailing list and initial enquiries. Any additional arrangements for ongoing sessions can be discussed when we begin working together.
The booking form asks what brings you to a session, what you would like to explore and your experience of inner work. I read your answers before we meet to prepare for our session. The question about preferences, boundaries and practical needs is optional.
Paid bookings use Stripe to process payment through Zcal. Payment details are entered in Stripe’s checkout, rather than on this website. Read Stripe’s privacy policy for information about its processing of payment and transaction data.
Website and service providers
Cloudflare hosts and protects this website and routes incoming email to my Gmail inbox. These services process technical information such as IP addresses, request details and email data as needed to provide their services. My basis for website operation and security is legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.
Optional website analytics and Meta marketing tracking are described below. Embedded MailerLite forms load resources from MailerLite, and infrastructure providers may use technical cookies or similar technologies for their services. Following a social media or booking link takes you to that provider's website.
Your cookie choices
Website analytics and marketing are separate, optional choices. You can allow either, both or neither. The banner disappears after you save your choice; “Cookie settings” in the footer and here lets you change it. Existing Meta consent does not automatically authorize Google Analytics. Each choice is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days using local storage.
Website analytics and Google Analytics
Google Analytics loads only after you allow “Website analytics”. It measures page visits, traffic sources, engagement, offering views, file-download and outbound-link clicks, successful signup forms and booking-link clicks. Google processes technical information such as browser and device details, approximate location and browser identifiers. This helps me understand which channels and offerings bring interested visitors and improve the website. Processing and analytics cookies are based on your consent.
The website sends fixed offering names and action labels, without copying names, email addresses, form answers or booking notes into analytics events. Campaign tags may be included in page addresses for attribution. A successful form submission does not establish attendance or email confirmation, and a booking-link click does not establish a completed booking or payment.
Google Analytics uses _ga and _ga_* cookies, configured here to last up to 180 days. Individual event data is retained in this Analytics property for up to 14 months; aggregate reports may be retained longer. Google’s modeling and business-insight features can use aggregated, de-identified measurement data. Google advertising personalization, Google Signals and customer email/name matching are not enabled in this integration.
You can withdraw analytics consent independently of marketing. Withdrawal stops future collection, clears accessible Analytics cookies and reloads the page to unload the Google tag. It does not remove information already sent. Google may process information outside the EU or EEA under its data protection arrangements. Marketing cookies and Meta Pixel
Meta Pixel loads only after you allow “Marketing”. It sends Meta information about the pages and offerings you view, engagement such as spending time on and scrolling a page, successful website form submissions and clicks on booking links, together with technical information such as your IP address, browser information and identifiers. I use this to measure Facebook and Instagram advertising and build audiences of website visitors for future ads. This processing and the use of marketing cookies are based on your consent.
Automatic advanced matching is enabled for email addresses and names available to the pixel. Meta hashes these identifiers to help match website activity to Meta accounts; hashing does not make the information anonymous. Embedded forms are managed separately by MailerLite, and this website does not copy their field values to the pixel. Matching may therefore not be available for every form or visit. My explicit tracking events contain fixed offering names, without form answers, session notes or booking details.
Meta’s page and product enrichment is enabled. It can use AI to identify public website details such as page titles, images, offering descriptions, prices and business contact information. Meta’s managed Conversions API is connected to this dataset to process captured website events through its integration. It does not independently verify completed Zcal bookings or payments.
Page addresses can be shared with Meta; please do not put personal information into website links. A booking-link click is not recorded as a completed booking, and a form submission is not proof that an email subscription has been confirmed.
Meta can use the first-party cookies _fbp (a browser identifier) and _fbc (an advertising click identifier, when relevant), normally lasting up to 90 days. Information is shared with Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and may be processed outside the EU or EEA under Meta’s data protection arrangements. Meta also processes information under its own policies. You can decline with the same ease as accepting, and the website remains available either way. Use “Cookie settings” in the footer or here to change or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing stops future tracking and clears the Meta cookies accessible to this website; it does not undo data already sent. Your choice is remembered in this browser for up to 180 days using local storage, which is used only to remember your preference.
Providers may process information outside the EU or EEA. Where applicable, their data protection arrangements use safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. You can contact me for more information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

How long information is kept
Newsletter details are kept while you remain subscribed. Meditation requests and correspondence are kept only for as long as needed to deliver the requested service, deal with follow-up questions and resolve any outstanding issues. Consent and unsubscribe records may be retained where needed to demonstrate your choices and prevent unwanted emails. Information may also be retained where required by law or needed for legal claims. Service providers have their own backup and technical-log retention periods.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict its use, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or request a portable copy where applicable. Providing details is voluntary, but I need an email address to send the meditation or letters and contact information to arrange a session. There are no solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
